Giant Arborvitae is a hybrid tree, a cross between two species of Arborvitae trees: the Japanese Arborvitae (Thuja standishii) and the Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata). It is one of the fastest-growing evergreen trees, capable of growing up to 3-5 feet per year under optimal conditions. It can reach up to 50-60 feet tall and only 12-20 feet wide, giving it a tall and narrow growth habit that makes it ideal for tight spaces or vertical landscapes.
